He served as executive director of the Victim List Project of the Swiss Bank Settlement and holds a PhD from Columbia University, where he also taught. Fisher joins Katya Fisher and John Lindsey to explain how the effort to find stolen art works, from the KGB archives to Nazi records, and how moral pressure, patience, and persistence shape negotiations with governments.
